The Studio is Back (Kind of)

After what feels like a very long time we have plans in place to restore the roof of our wonderful studio, which means it will be available to use soon!

We're hoping to do it a little differently this time and rent the space as a whole with a monthly rental fee, meaning that the occupier would become A Villager (so to speak). The Village is a hub for small businesses and entrepreneurs so we would love to see local businesses using our facilities. Based in the centre of Market Harborough, this upstairs space is the perfect setting for classes, workshops, book talks or rehearsal space. It's a lovely, bright, large space with a central room divider which can be used to divide the room as required.

We would ask that you sign a 2 year lease which reflects the lease period at The Village as a whole (with 6 months notice).
The room has a lovely, quality, wood-effect floor, two air conditioning / heating units, room divider and a beautiful mural on the wall.
The occupier would be welcome to 'shop fit' however they please - we're open to ideas.
The occupier would have the benefit of being able to create their own entrance using the door to the car-park. This will require a little 'shop fit' on your part to create a nice entry-way, and replace the door so that it locks from both inside and out, but it could look fantastic and would provide you with a space to add your branding at the front of the building.
An automatic / intercom buzzer could be a really neat option so you could 'buzz' your clients/customers in. Alternatively, access will be via the storage space (where the Community Fridge is) and you will open the fire escape for your clients to access The Studio.
The occupier will have keys to the main village hall for use of the loo as well as the on-site cafe and facilities whilst we are open. During our closed hours we will be able to give you keys to access the main building BUT it will need to be kept locked as we cannot allow anyone to access the building without supervision.

Travel

We are based at our town centre location on St Mary's Road in Market Harborough. We are a short, five-minute walk from The Square, and an equally close distance from Market Harborough train station.

We have a limited number of car parking spaces to the front of the building but are close to three town-centre car parks, all within a three-minute walk.

Accessibility

The Studio is accessible by stairs only. Our toilet and baby-change facilities are located in the main village building.
