What's on in 2021.

Due to 2020 being, well 2020-ish, our planned program of events has been somewhat delayed from March of last year!

But now we're back in business, and we are carefully starting our series of educational events, classes and workshops to explore how we can live more sustainably.

Eco Fika groups.

Our Eco Fika sessions will restart as soon as they are able to, where we adopt the Swedish method of gathering together to have informal discussions on important topics, like zero waste, sustainability and making changes to our everyday lives with the challenges that this creates. The MOST IMPORTANT thing about an Eco Fika event however is that it is centred around coffee and cake. We know. No more information needed.

Wellness and mindfulness.

After a year of lockdown, now is the time to look after our mind and bodies, with some soothing calmness.

Our events calendar is now jam-packed with a program of -

  • Yoga Classes
  • Mindfulness & Guided Meditation Classes
  • Self Care Saturdays
  • Find the Time Course
  • Back to School Mindfulness

All to help restore some calm, focus on the positives, and help look after our mental health and well-being.

Talks, debates and classes.

An important part of our vision for the Eco Village is to explore all issues surrounding sustainability; to discuss and debate these as we all try to find solutions together.

These might perhaps mean some uncomfortable changes to our everyday lives. So it's essential to look at these and seek ways of adapting as easily as possible to make collective changes.

Waiting in the wings are specialists in mindfulness, composting and time management, who we are excited to host masterclasses & workshops and share their vision and expertise.

Work on our Community Garden is now underway too, so Head Grower, Bethia, will be running a series of workshops based in the garden to run classes on growing your own fruit and veg.

Plus we want to make the most of our Community Garden space, so we will be using it for Stories Around the Campfire, and Garden Cocktails, plus a whole lot more!

Watch this space!

We feel extremely passionate about these topics so it is important to us to be able to offer events such as this to the wider community. Keep an eye on this page and on our Instagram for more details on upcoming events!
