Room Hire

Looking to hire a space that's unlike your average meeting room? Then our Community Room is the place you need!

Based in the centre of Market Harborough, this upstairs space is light and bright. The perfect setting for classes, workshops, book talks, flexible meeting rooms, or corporate event hire. Our stunning mural painted by Katie Brosnan acts as a backdrop (perfect for your Instagram event pictures!).

Multi-functional space

Set up as a Community Room, the aim has always been for our studio space to be used by the whole community. Whether you're looking for a rehearsal room, dance class space, a venue for a book talk, space for a yoga or meditation class or somewhere to host your community group, then speak to us about hiring our Studio.

Corporate room hire

The Village is a hub for small businesses and entrepreneurs so we love to see local businesses using our Community Room. Whether it's for an inspiring talk, networking or training the room can accommodate a wide range of room setups and formats, including -

  • Presentation room
  • Photography studio space (equipment not included)

Room rates

Our current rates to hire the Community Room are -

  • Per hour £15 plus VAT
  • Half day (09:00 - 12:30 or 12:30 - 16:00) £50 plus VAT 
  • Full day (09:00 - 16:00) £95.00 plus VAT

Catering

Tea, coffee and cake can be added for £3 per head.

Lunch (stew and salad combo, plus tea/coffee or a canned soft drink) can be added for £8.50 per head. 

Alternatively, if you do not want to include refreshments we can offer you and your guests a 20% discount on food from our onsite café.

Travel

We are based at our town centre location on St Mary's Road in Market Harborough. We are a short, five-minute walk from The Square, and an equally close distance from Market Harborough train station.

We have a limited number of car parking spaces to the front of the building but are close to three town-centre car parks, all within a three-minute walk.

Accessibility

Our Community Room is located on the first floor at The Village and is accessible by stairs. A toilet and baby-change facilities can be found in our main building.
