The Village Community Cafe

The Village Community Cafe is a family-friendly, affordable place to meet in Market Harborough.

From February 2026, we have decided to pause our lunch menu, so that we can pour more love into our bakes, small-batch treats, seasonal jams, and pickles made with ingredients from our garden.

It’s not a decision we’ve taken lightly, but for the time being we need to think about how we utilise our resources.

We also have a wide range of Tealicious Ltd loose leaf tea, Jute filter coffee with a free refill, wine by the glass, beer, cider and lager from Duncan Murray Wines and a selection of cold drinks. Oat milk and cow's milk are available for your hot drinks.

We have free WIFI and tables inside and outside for getting together with friends or family or meeting work colleagues away from the office.

The Village is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and so it is run, in the majority, by volunteers. This enables prices in the café to be kept low. We also have a Kindness Board in Refill Revolution where you can pay it forward and donate a drink or cake to someone who would benefit.

The Community Cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 4pm, and until 8pm on Thursdays for drinks and cake. We hope to see you soon.
